Who You Are:
The Solutions Architect is the specialist who has actually built and scaled TradFi systems, and who can carry that hard-won architectural judgment into the design of digital asset platforms. This is not a generalist solutions-architect role — it requires true fluency in the concepts of system design and architecture as they apply to both worlds: how a custody ledger is structured, how settlement systems are architected for resilience and finality, and how those same principles translate (or don't) when assets move on-chain.
You understand tokenization at a mechanical level — how assets are represented, issued, transferred, and settled — and you can architect a full digital asset platform end to end: custody, tokenization, settlement, and trading, not just one component of it.
This is a client-facing role. You will sit across the table from Tier-1 institutional engineers and executives, defend design decisions under real scrutiny, and make the hard architectural calls when there is no obvious right answer.
What You’ll Do:
Own the technical architecture for custom build engagements spanning custody, settlement, tokenization, and trading infrastructure
Design and articulate how a full digital asset platform is architected end to end — from asset issuance and tokenization through custody, settlement, trading, and reporting
Bring deep TradFi systems experience into digital asset architecture decisions — identifying where legacy patterns transfer directly and where they need to be reinvented
Serve as the primary technical and architectural point of contact for Tier-1 institutional stakeholders, running technical discovery and defending design decisions with client engineers and executives
Partner with the Product partners to translate requirements into sound architecture, and with engineering to set the technical bar and make hard design calls
Explain and defend tokenization mechanics — how assets are represented, issued, transferred, and settled on-chain versus off-chain — to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Stay hands-on: review designs and code, prototype where it de-risks a decision, and remain credible with the engineers doing the build
Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI tools to improve team performance, decision-making, and output quality
What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record building and scaling TradFi systems at meaningful scale — at a bank, exchange, custodian, or major financial infrastructure provider
Deep, applied understanding of system design and architecture principles as they apply to both TradFi and digital asset systems
True fluency in tokenization — able to explain and design how it works mechanically, and how it fits into a broader institutional platform
Experience architecting a full digital asset platform (custody, settlement, tokenization, trading), not just a single component
Specialist-level technical depth; comfortable being the senior-most technical voice in the room on architecture
Client-facing experience with Tier-1 institutions, fluent from a whiteboard session with engineers to a C-suite briefing
Founder-grade agency and low ego — comfortable making hard design calls in ambiguous, high-stakes settings
Bonus Points:
Hands-on experience building blockchain infrastructure or tokenization platforms
Prior architecture leadership at a custodian, exchange, clearinghouse, or Tier-1 bank
Hands-on production LLM or AI agent experience
What We Offer:
Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements
Flexible Time Off (paid)
3% 401(k) company contribution
Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
Generous paid Parental Leave
Competitive family planning benefits for US employees
