Keyloop bridges the gap between dealers, manufacturers, technology suppliers and car buyers. We empower car dealers and manufacturers to fully embrace digital transformation. How? By creating innovative technology that makes selling cars better for our customers, and buying and owning cars better for theirs. We use cutting-edge technology to link our clients’ systems, departments and sites. We provide an open technology platform that’s shaping the industry for the future. We use data to help clients become more efficient, increase profitability and give more customers an amazing experience. Want to be part of it? Role overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Linux Engineer to design and implement the complex enterprise Linux platforms used within several AWS regions and Data Centre locations. This is an opportunity to help lead a core part of our infrastructure through generation of recommendations and thought leadership, operating as a senior technical authority , driving complex initiatives, setting direction, and influencing outcomes beyond your immediate remit. Driving Delivery & Technical Direction Not only delivering assigned work but actively driving projects forward. Delivering outcomes not simply completing given tasks. Providing technical direction to other engineers and teams. Acting, when required, as a technical project lead / de facto technical project manager, particularly for initiatives that span multiple teams or platforms. Define multiyear roadmaps and technical vision for your technology areas. Ownership of Strategic Work Leading key strategic initiatives for the team, which could involve technologies outside of experience or comfort. Taking accountability for delivery of high-impact, business-critical projects. Owning delivery even when elements fall outside your core technical expertise. Operating in Ambiguity Able to work effectively with high levels of ambiguity and incomplete information. Applying broad, structured and creative thinking to solve complex problems. Acting as a thought leader, not just an executor. Demonstrating strong self-starting behaviour, identifying problems and opportunities without direction.
