About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer – DevOps / CloudOps to help build, automate, and operate reliable and scalable engineering infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with software development and engineering teams to improve CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, system reliability, observability, and automation. You will have the opportunity to work across cloud, infrastructure, deployment automation, and production operations. What You’ll Do Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment. Manage and improve cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Monitor production systems, investigate alerts, and troubleshoot reliability issues. Collaborate with software engineers to resolve deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues. Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python, Bash, or similar scripting. Review infrastructure, automation, and deployment-related code. Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and observability. Contribute to monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards. Support incident response and participate in on-call operations. Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational processes. Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency through automation. What You’ll Bring Must Have Strong understanding of Linux systems. Basic programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar. Experience with at least one major cloud platform – AWS preferred. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform. Good understanding of software deployment and production environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Experience with Docker. Experience with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Understanding of logging platforms and distributed systems. Basic knowledge of security, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security best practices.
