Position Summary
The Technical Product Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing LiquidStack’s product strategy across its liquid cooling portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer requirements, and commercial performance, ensuring products are technically sound, market-relevant, and scalable.
This is a mid-career role requiring both hands-on execution and structured thinking. The individual will contribute to product roadmap development, support new product introductions, and work closely with cross-functional teams to translate real-world customer needs into actionable product improvements.
The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, customer-facing experience, and product lifecycle exposure, with the ability to operate independently while influencing across functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Roadmap Leadership
Support development and execution of a 2–3 year product roadmap aligned with market needs and business objectives
Translate customer feedback, field insights, and competitive analysis into product enhancements and feature priorities
Conduct market and competitor research within data center infrastructure, HVAC, and thermal management industries
Contribute to identifying adjacent opportunities to expand product capabilities and market reach
. Product Performance & Business Support
Contribute to tracking product performance including adoption, customer feedback, and operational metrics
Support development of business cases and ROI analysis for new features or improvements
Provide input into pricing strategy, demand planning, and forecasting activities
Assist in aligning product decisions with cost, margin, and scalability considerations
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Lifecycle Management
Participate in structured stage-gate / NPI processes from concept through commercialization
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure launch readiness and scalability
Support development of product documentation including technical materials, training content, and application notes
Monitor product performance post-launch and identify improvement and cost optimization opportunities
Market & Customer Engagement
Act as a technical liaison between Sales, Engineering, and Product teams
Engage with customers to understand performance requirements, constraints, and use cases
Support pre-sales and post-sales activities by providing technical product guidance and solution alignment
Translate complex technical performance into clear customer-facing value propositions
Cross-Functional Governance & Decision Support
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to evaluate technical feasibility and manufacturability
Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure aligned messaging and go-to-market readiness
Support internal teams with technical insights, product positioning, and customer requirements clarification
Work with ecosystem partners (OEMs, chipmakers) to ensure integration compatibility and alignment

Contributes to a clearly defined and actionable product roadmap
Demonstrates ability to translate customer and field insights into product improvements
Successfully supports product launches and enhancements with cross-functional alignment
Builds credibility with internal teams as a reliable technical and product resource
Improves clarity and consistency in product requirements and execution processes
Supports measurable improvements in product performance, usability, or cost structure
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
4+years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Line Management, or infrastructure-focused roles
Experience in data center infrastructure, HVAC, thermal management, power systems, or industrial equipment environments
Demonstrated experience influencing pricing, revenue performance, or margin outcomes
Experience managing hardware or electro-mechanical products through structured lifecycle processes
Familiarity with stage-gate or formal NPI methodologies
Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities (advanced Excel proficiency required)
Ability to interpret technical performance data and translate into customer-facing value propositions
Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder alignment capability
Process improvement mindset and operational discipline
High degree of accountability and ownership
Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
4–8 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Engineering, Applications Engineering, or similar roles
Experience in data center infrastructure, HVAC, thermal management, or industrial equipment environments preferred
Exposure to hardware or electro-mechanical product lifecycle management
Familiarity with stage-gate / NPI processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to interpret technical and operational data
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving priorities
