Data Science Intern

At QuantCo, applied scientists combine advances in AI with rigorous economic and quantitative thinking to build systems that improve high-stakes decisions. As a Data Science Intern , you will work on a substantive, well-scoped project connected to our ongoing research and production work. You’ll work day to day with full-time colleagues, tackling problems the team is actively solving and contributing to systems we build for customers. Experienced scientists and engineers will provide close mentorship throughout the internship, giving you a realistic sense of the full-time role at QuantCo. Our work combines research and modeling in AI/ML, statistics, and econometrics with hands-on engineering that turns quantitative ideas into reliable production systems. Intern projects reflect this breadth, with some closer to research and others closer to engineering. Recent intern projects have included: Developing methods for AI-driven hypothesis generation and interpretable feature discovery from patterns learned by black-box embedding models. Quantifying uncertainty in multimodal pricing models. Building agents that turn unstructured product data into reliable signals.
