You will join the Cloud Infrastructure team in London. The team designs, builds, and operates cloud platforms that support trading and research workloads, including digital asset and crypto-related systems. The team works closely with development, trading, and operations teams to deliver secure, reliable and scalable cloud solutions.
Your Future Role within QRT
Design and implement deployment strategies for applications on AWS in collaboration with development, trading and operations teams
Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices to automate and streamline software delivery
Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure availability, performance and reliability of cloud-based applications
Work with developers to enhance application scalability, reliability and security in cloud environments
Provide operational support and troubleshooting for issues related to cloud deployments and infrastructure
Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve efficiency of DevOps processes
Act as a liaison between engineering and business teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Your Present Skillset
Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure (e.g. EC2, S3, VPC and related components)
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK
Hands-on experience with distributed computing systems and processing large datasets
Practical experience with containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Good understanding of Linux systems, including networking and performance optimisation
Familiarity with time synchronisation concepts and protocols such as NTP or PTP
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
