Rackner is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to help maintain the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems.
This position offers hands-on ownership across AWS, Linux, Windows, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. You will solve operational challenges, support tenant environments, and broaden your cloud and DevSecOps experience rather than being limited to one technical area.
What You Will Do

Resolve Tier 1–3 service requests and escalate complex issues when needed
Provision tenant VPCs, roles, permissions, and access
Administer Linux and Windows systems, including Active Directory
Maintain AWS services, containers, and Kubernetes-based platforms
Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash, Ansible, YAML, Terraform, or similar tools
Support infrastructure as code within DevSecOps and continuous-delivery workflows
Troubleshoot network, platform, and system issues
Strengthen documentation, operating procedures, and service performance
Provide occasional weekend or holiday coverage based on mission needs
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of IT systems administration experience in place of a degree
3+ years supporting the operation and maintenance of secure information systems
3+ years working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
3+ years supporting AWS and container technologies
3+ years administering Windows environments and Active Directory
3+ years using Bash, Ansible, YAML, or similar scripting and configuration tools
1+ year working with infrastructure as code and DevSecOps or continuous-delivery environments using tools such as Terraform
1+ year supporting Kubernetes or comparable platform-as-a-service technologies
Ability to obtain the required DoD IAT Level II baseline certification, such as Security+, and an applicable AWS certification within 30 days of starting
